Wat King Kaew
The large temple complex of Wat King Kaew, built in 1885 during the reign of HM King Rama V, is a visual feast as well as a place of serenity and a symbol of Thai heritage. It is easily recognized by the massive golden Buddha statue in the centre of it. The various shrines, pagodas and other fascinating buildings here are cared for by monks and visitors will find many lovely and quiet spots for rest and to contemplate life’s mysteries and beauties
